get pre-qualified

Have you spoken with a loan officer to see what you qualify for?  My reason for asking this is simply this...it is the first step.  If you begin this home buying experience with pre-qualification, you could avoid disappointment.  You will get the facts, and have confidence to know what you can and can't do. 

A loan officer will require some information from you, then will be able to give you the helpful information that will enable you and me to get started on reaching the goal - getting you into your new home.  He or she is there to work for you, and will be able to answer any questions you will have.

Choosing your loan officer is very important.  Sometimes it can make or break a deal.  You may know a good loan officer already, however if you do not...I would be happy to recommend a couple.  I suggest you contact more than one.  You will want to feel comfortable with your loan officer, and remember - he or she works for you.  Don't hesitate to contact 2 or 3.  Call me, and I will give you some contact info, of I can have them give you a ring or email.
